Verdugo Hills Golf Course

HERE’S WHAT YOU CAN DO TO HELP!

The revised sections of the Draft Environmental Impact Report on the Verdugo Hills Golf Course project were released on December 3rd. The public will have 45 days to comment on these sections. The close of public comments will be February 3, 2016. The community will once again need to break into action to respond to these re-circulated documents.

  • Sign up for our email blasts. Just CLICK on the orange “Join our eBlast” button on the right side of this page and fill in your name and contact information. That way you will be the first to know what is going on with the VHGC
  • Take the time to read and comment on one of the new sections of the Draft EIR. The sections include Greenhouse Gases, Cultural Resources, and Traffic. There is also a new 86-unit equestrian alternative and the developer’s new 221-unit residential alternative. You do not have to comment on all the sections. Pick the one you know the best and let the City know if the section is thorough, accurate, and fair. For help, just CLICK on the “Verdugo Hills Golf Course” tab above, then CLICK again on the “Where We Are on EIR” tab.
  • If you would like a savethegolfcourse.org yard sign, please send us an email at gcvoice@gcvoice.org. We’ll bring one of our bright yellow signs for your front yard ASAP.
  • Please make a tax-deductable donation to Glendale-Crescenta V.O.I.C.E. The amount doesn’t matter. Every penny will go to saving the Verdugo Hills Golf Course including the hiring of expert consultants to comment on the revised sections of the Draft EIR. Just CLICK on the green “Donate Now” button on the right side of this page.

If you have questions about the DEIR, or ideas about saving the golf course, please email us at gcvoice@gcvoice.org. We’d love to hear from you!
