Verdugo Hills Golf Course

HERE’S WHAT YOU CAN DO TO HELP!

A recirculated portion of the Draft Environmental impact Report on the Verdugo Hills Golf Course Project (now referred to as the 6433 La Tuna Canyon Road Project) was released on September 28, 2017.  The public will have 45 days to comment on this new section on Energy Conservation.  The close of public comments will be November 13, 2017.  We invite the community to once again break into action to respond to this recirculated document.

  • Sign up for our email blasts. Just CLICK on the orange “Join our eBlast” button on the right side of this page and fill in your name and contact information. That way you will be the first to know what is going on with the VHGC
  • Take the time to read and comment on the new section of the Draft EIR. Although you may not be an expert in Energy Conservation, you are an expert on your community. Read through the document and determine whether, in your opinion, it makes sense. Are the assumptions accurate? Are the conclusions reasonable? Is there a flawed analysis? For help, just CLICK on the “Verdugo Hills Golf Course” tab above, then CLICK again on the “Where We Are on EIR” tab. The document can be found at: https://planning.lacity.org
  • If you would like a savethegolfcourse.org yard sign, please send us an email at gcvoice@gcvoice.org. We’ll bring one of our bright yellow signs for your front yard ASAP.
  • Please make a tax-deductable donation to Glendale-Crescenta V.O.I.C.E. The amount doesn’t matter. Every penny will go to ensure that the Final EIR adequately responds to all the comments made by the public and our expert consultants on the Draft EIR. Just CLICK on the green “Donate Now” button on the right side of this page.

If you have questions about the DEIR, or ideas about saving the golf course, please email us at gcvoice@gcvoice.org. We’d love to hear from you!
